Apparently, Azealia Banks woke up and chose chaos again. The American rapper, who seems to spend more time insulting people online than actually making music, decided to target Lisa with a round of racist and transphobic remarks that nobody asked for and nobody needed.

It all started when creative director Brett Alan Nelson shared a post celebrating his work with Doja Cat on her new track Jealous Type. Some fans speculated that the song had beaten Lisa’s debut streaming record on Spotify — a claim later proven false. But Banks took this as her cue to slide into the comments and declare the video “sucks,” blaming Nelson’s supposed association with “that young mukbang,” a snide and offensive reference to Lisa.
She didn’t stop there. Banks also posted a screenshot on X, once again trying to push the tired and transphobic claim that Lisa is transgender — something she’s brought up before, as if repeating it makes it any less ignorant.
Unsurprisingly, the internet was not impressed. Fans dragged Banks for the baseless attacks, with comments ranging from “Does it hurt you so much that Lisa is more beautiful and famous than you?” to the more educational, “Not knowing women can have visible Adam’s apples in 2025 is… complicated.” Others didn’t hold back at all, calling out her bitterness and telling her to finally rise above the envy.
As of now, neither Lisa nor her agency has responded — which honestly might be the smartest move. When someone’s entire brand revolves around picking fights, silence can be louder than words.
